Athletics & Extracurricular
Mission
Our mission is to provide Kettle Moraine School District students with access to quality co-curricular and extra-curricular opportunities, and to ensure that these students have access to world-class facilities and athletics and activities for all interests that are coached and advised by world-renowned staff.
Ongoing Projects
Soccer Lights: The first phase of this project is underway on the south side of Kettle Moraine High School. Students enrolled in the building construction class at the high school are responsible for constructing a new building next to the soccer field. The structure will house a concession stand, announcers’ booth, and also provide storage for equipment used to maintain the field.
The second phase of the project is scheduled to begin in early November and will include the construction of new lighting all the way around the soccer field. The lights will extend the use of the field and make it accessible to more teams, more often.
Celebrating Success
Share the Field: During the summer of 2009, this project included the installation of an artificial turf field where the old football field used to be. The project was the result of a substantial gift from the “Share the Field” committee of the Kettle Moraine Education Foundation. Over $400,000 was raised over the course of three years to complete the project.
